The Walking Dead finale... The anticipation is killing me!

After last weeks episode I have no clue what
the writers of The Walking Dead are
going to throw at us for the finale.
I know I was not the only one
that gasped and got a little teary eyed
last week when Daryl saw Merle as a zombie.
The heart break was felt all over.
Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker did a amazing job.
Here is a behind the scene peek of the making
of the Sorrowful Life episode.
I couldn't take it.
Started looking up spoiler sites.
Hoping to get a sneak peek in to the finale.
I found nothing legit though.
What I did find was a lot of references to season one.
Honestly when The Walking Dead came on
we did not have cable.
When I started watching The Walking Dead
I started in season two.
Never even thought about watching season one.
Curiosity got the better of me yesterday
and I watched all six episodes of season 1.
I am so glad that I did.
I did not realized that Rick woke up in
a deserted hospital filled with the dead.
Awoken to a zombie apocalypse.
Watching season one made me like
Rick Grimes character.
Really feel bad for the guy sincerely.
I understand who Morgan is now.
Why Merle is missing a hand, a few references
that I had missed before make sense now.
Shane and Laurie aren't as sneaky as I thought.
Daryl has become a real good guy.
Actually seeing Sophia instead of just looking for her.
It shed a light on a lot for me.

Now that I have watched season 1.
Tonight I am going to watch season 2.
It is going to make more sense and I have
emotion devoted into the characters now.
Instead of watching it not really knowing
who was who and what they had been through.

Toworrow night it is finale time!
Word on the web is 27 people are going to die.
It is going to be intense for sure.
Here is a sneak peek.

I personally hate The Governor.
Patiently waiting for Michone to chop off his head.
Although he really added a lot to this season.
With out The Governor it would have just been
them in the prison fighting off walkers.
The Governor was a actual bad guy,
who was a bigger threat then the walkers.
He seemed ok at first but the more
the story progressed the more deranged he became.
I am really hoping though that Rick and his crew
are out of the prison when
The Governor and his people arrive.
Looks like there might be some walkers behind
that door they open seen in the preview.
Well at least that is what I am hoping for.
There is a lot of speculation about the finale.
People comparing and using the comic
book to predict the end of season 3.
From what I have been hearing though
the show is different then the comics.
So you can't always go by what you read.

Really hope Daryl tears some s**t up,
and avenges his brothers death.
I predict Milton is going to find Andrea in
The Governors torture room and let her go.
Since it was kinda hinted he set the walkers
bodies on fire behind The Governors back.
As for all the Woodbury folks they might just be doomed.
Wouldn't that be ironic if the 27 is all of Woodbury.
The Governor I hope gets his but I don't see that happening.

Any Walking Dead fans out there?
Any predictions for the finale?
Who do you think is going to make it to season 4?

I am excited!
Can't wait.
But then in another sense sad this season is coming to a end.
And the wait starts all over again.

American Horror Story- Asylum

Having premiered October 17th.
This is the second of the anthology series.
But before I start to talk about Asylum.
Let recap the first season.
Season Ones theme was INFIDELITY.
Ben cheated on Vivian with one of his students.
They move in hopes to fix their marriage.
Unfortunately they move into
a haunted Victorian home.
Sex, depression, revenge, lies, the unknown,
and sinister next door neighbor.
This season hooked me in.
I will admit though I was confused a lot.
The characters were well written.
My favorite was Tate.
Even if he ended up being the man
in the black rubber suit.
(Have no clue what I am talking about go watch the first season.)

This show was spooky and interesting.
Not knowing who was alive and who was dead.
The ending though I felt lacked something.
I was expecting more I guess.
The explanation was just short and then it was over.

Now the second season has started.

I finally got a chance to watch it last night.
And I must say OH MY!
First off I am very excited that not only
is Jessica Lang playing Sister Jude.
But a few other actors are back from season one.
Evan Peters is playing Kit - The famous Bloody Face.
Zachary Quinton will be playing Dr Oliver Threadson.
(you would know him from Heros as Sylar.)
Taking place in 1964 .
Giving us a look into  Briarcliff Mental Institution.
Just from watching the first episode.
I can tell this season is going to be more
bloody, gruesome, and demented.
It starts off with a honeymoon couple going
to explore the abandoned institution.
Then it flashes to 1964.
We meet Sister Jude and get introduces to all the madness.
Kit aka Bloody Face has been emitted.
We get a peek at the torcher Dr Arthur Arden
puts the patients through in the name of science.
But we also know something far more sinister is
to blame for the death of Kit's wife.
The nosiey report has been caught and
will be getting more then she bargained for.
We also get flashes of modern time.
Which shows us a bloody Adam Levine,
and a horrified wife running for her life.
(I have to be honest I don't really like the sex scene stuff
or the hack em slash them, so I fast forward through that part, not really sure
what happened)
The asylum is dark and eerie.
They did a great job setting the mood.
There is a lot going on this season
so I am defiantly interested to see what happens!
And once again I am HOOKED!

American Horror Story Asylum is on FX  Wendsday at 10.
Also go and check out the FX AHS site.
All sorts of goodies to explore.

Oz :The Great and Powerful

"From the director of the Spider-Man trilogy and the producer of Alice in Wonderland."

OZ: The Great and Powerful

I am super excited about this movie
coming out spring 2013.
As a little girl Wizard of Oz was
my absolutely favorite movie.
I would watch it over and over.
What is really exciting is that they just aren't redoing the
Wizard of Oz, but giving us a whole new look at the story.

Oz: the Great and the Powerful‘s plot synopsis: When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis) Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Discover the origins of L. Frank Baum's 'the Wizard of Oz
He actually wrote fourteen full-length Oz books.
Turns out the one we all know and love
wasn't so true to the books.
Here are some know differences
between the book and the MGM Movie.
  1. There is no cellar, just a trapdoor in the middle of the house floor which led to hole in the ground.
  2. The house is one room.
  3. There are no trees or other houses around the farm.
  4. Aunt Em and Uncle Henry had a hard life and never laughed.
  5. THERE ARE NO FARMHANDS- Hunk, Zeke, or Hickory.
  6. THERE IS NO MISS GULTCH.
  7. There is no Professor Marvel.
  8. There is no Toto being misbehaving plot.
  9. The cyclone just comes and Dorothy and Toto are too late to go down the trapdoor.
  10. Dorothy DOES NOT HIT HER HEAD and have a dream- the cyclone REALLY takes the house away and transports Dorothy and Toto to another place.
  11. The Good Witch of the North is NOT Glinda; Glinda is the Witch of the South. The North Witch kisses Dorothy to protect her from all evil.
  12. The Munchkins were not midgets or dwarfs, just smaller than regular adults.
  13. The Wicked Witch of the East had Silver Shoes, not Ruby Slippers.
  14. Dorothy is greeted by three men and the Witch of the North.1- The 1.Wicked Witch of the West is just in one chapter and is simply an obstacle to overcome as opposed to the centerpiece of the story.
  15. Oz himself has many different illusions.
  16. The Tin Woodsman was originally a human.
  17. The death of the Wicked Witch of the West is in the middle of the book, and the Scarecrow isn’t even there.
  18. Dorothy’s journey is much longer, and the team gets separated at times.
  19. Oz wants Dorothy to kill the Wicked Witch of the West as opposed to bringing him her broomstick.
  20. The Flying Monkeys weren’t evil; they were under control via a magical Golden Cap. Dorothy actually gets the cap and controls them.
  21. Everyone wears emerald glasses in the City of Emeralds so everything looks green (another scheme by Oz).
  22. Dorothy and friends fought more monsters and visited different cities, such as a city made entirely of china.
  23.  The Tin Woodsman used his axe to kill 40 wolves sent by the Wicked Witch of the West.
  24. Then the Scarecrow broke the necks of a bunch of crows she sent.
  25. Toto isn’t responsible for everything and doesn’t have the super-intelligence he has in the movie (he accidentally moves the screen Oz is hiding behind as opposed to detecting the scheme).
  26. Dorothy is like 11 or 12.

It will be interesting to see how Disney interprets this story!
Me and the family will for sure be
going to see this in the theater!
The preview looks awesome!

Dark Shadows..

This is one movie in theaters right now I really want to see.
Johnny Depp as a quirky vampire yes please.
Burton film even better.
There is just something I love so much about the way he directs.
Never having seeing the original
but hearing it was a popular daytime soap opera from the 1960's
with vampires, witches , warlocks, and werewolves.

I had no idea such a show existed!
And will be watching the original.
I mean it's a vampire show from the 60's

Burton's version being
his reinterpretation of a favorite shows from his youth.
But of course with his twist to it.
I personally love how Depp and Carter are in most of Burton's films.
I think they both do amazing at each character they play.
And it makes it signature Burton.

The story line:
In 1782, Joshua and Naomi Collins sail from Liverpool, England to North America. Their son, Barnabas, grows up to be a wealthy playboy in
Collinsport, Maine and is the master of Collinwood Manor. He breaks the heart of a witch, Angelique Bouchard, who kills his parents, curses his family, including all his lovers (the last being Josette), leaping to their deaths from a nearby cliff and finally turns Barnabas into a vampire and buries him alive in a chained-coffin in the woods. 196 years later in 1972, Barnabas is accidentally freed from his coffin by a group of construction workers, sucks them dry of their blood and makes his way back to Collinwood Manor where he finds his once-magnificent mansion in ruin. The manor is currently occupied by Barnabas' dysfunctional descendants. Barnabas decides to restore his family name, but when Angelique discovers that he has escaped his shallow grave, she plots revenge and tries to win him back.

Although in interviews Depp promised his fans he wouldn't
stray to far off from the original.
You can't be mad at him he was just doing what he does best.
Making his character come to life.
Even if it is a bit disco and goofy.
I really want to see it.
And I am really  interested now to watch the original show.

The movie is now playing at theaters.
Did you see it? Are you planning on going?

Being Human : The Show to watch..

So it is very rare that I get super sucked into a show.
But right from the start I was hooked.
I stumbled upon it on accident and
 haven't stopped watching it since.
What Show am I talking about?
Being Human !!!
Some of you may know about the BBC version.
Which it the original.
But I have watched both and the SYFY
one is defiantly my fav.
I had  only caught a few episodes on demand.
And the next day my husband went out and
bought me the whole first season.
Which I watched straight through that night!!!
So what is the story you ask?
A Vampire, A Werewolf and A Ghost all live in a house.
And they are all trying to live a somewhat normal life.
Aiden the vampire is trying to go blood free.

Josh the werewolf is just trying to live with his new curse.

Working at the local hospital

Sally the ghost  just trying to
figure out to do with all her time.

These characters are so well written
and you just get sucked in.

Season one was almost the same as th BBC version.
With a few differences.
Now season two completely different the writers
didn't even watch the BBC version.
Season two it becomes a bit harder for
  Aiden to be blood free
when he gets put in charge of Boston.

And his love Surren comes back.

We see a darker uglier side of Aiden.
But you feel bad for the guy.
He was trying to be good and now is forced
back into the world of blood and killing.

Josh has turned Nora into a werewolf.
Sweet Nora realizes she enjoys being a wolf.

We finally meet Josh's x Juila
and well Im not going to give it away.
But last weeks episode was intense.

Sally missing her door the end of season one.
And now she is  stuck! What's a ghost to do?
Sally has a really dark time.
Possessing, being chased by the blackness,
 and becoming a ghost reaper.

This second season has had some
Oh my god moments.
It was just so good.
Meeting some new characters along the way.
I can't believe that the season finale is next week already.
Went too fast I'm so hooked I want more.
If you haven't watched it I suggest you
go and watch season 1 first
Season One Trailer

Season 2 Trailer

On Monday @ 9 SYFY

Can't wait for new weeks episode!
I will be counting down the days for season 3!

Monster Man - Syfy

Since we were really into Face Off.
And the second season just ended.
When we saw the preview to Monster Man we
knew we had to watch it.
My husband being a huge horror movie fan
he was really excited for this show.
It is actually really neat seeing
all the behind the scenes work that
goes in to making the movie monsters.
Cleve Hall with his two daughters, X-wife
and the rest of the SOTA FX Team
making movie magic.

Every show is a different customer and
a new monster.
Usually more then one monster project a show.
So far they have done:
Two headed shark
Werewolf
Conjoined Twins
Creepy Polly the Princess
Bio mechanical Cockroach
Exploding Demon Ant

The really cool part of the show is once
they are done with the monster.
You actually get to go with them to the movie
set and see it in action.
Makes you really appreciate all the work
that goes into making the monster.

Cleve dresses in all black , rocks vampire contacts
and drives a Hearse
You can't help but like the guy.
He had been working in special effects
since he was a teenager.
Cleve worked on such low budget films as Ghoulies,
 Re-Animator, Troll andTerrorvision.
He has worked with
Paramount Pictures,
 DreamWorks, Warner Bros and Disney,
including favorites How to Train Your Dragon,
Syfy orinial movie Sharktopus, Ed Wood
and Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
He has even worked on some TV programs.
Working on YO GABBA GABBA  got him a
Emmy Nomination.

He is a Monster Master.
This show is defiantly one to check out.
Especially if you are into the special effects
of it all.

It's on SYFY Wednesdays at 10

Tangled.. We want more...

Both my kids absolutely love Tangled.
We watch it daily some times on repeat.
My little girl sleeps with her
 Rapunzel and Pascal dolls everynight.
We have Tangled decals and posters on the walls.
And my little guy carry's around a satchel all day.
Just to be like Flyn Rider.

At the end of the movie we call it our dancing song.
We stop whatever we are doing and start dancing!!

We were beyond excited when we heard about
Tangled Ever After

Last Friday it was on the Disney Channel.
I DVR'ed it cause it was on at 9pm
And my kids are in bed at 8
The kids were super excited Saturday morning
ready to finally watch it.
I will say it was cute.
But WAY to short.
I didn't realize it was only just over 6 mins long.
As soon as it started it seemed like it was over.
I love how they kept the getting the nose wrong going.
And the throwing of the ax to start the accordion.
Pascal and Maximus were pretty funny.
It did give us a good chuckle.
But what a tease I want to see
Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding.
We are left wanting more.

The kids were like that's it mommy?
And then they watched it over and over
since I had DVR'ed it.

These characters are so great.
I don't know about your family.
But I know we would watch anything with them in it.
We are crossing our fingers that there is a
Tangled Two somewhere in the midst.
That is something we would defiantly
go and see in the theaters.
The wedding and the life after.
There is so many fun directions they could go with it.
So until they do I guess we will watch Tangled
Over and Over..
And the little peek into the wedding they gave us..

Best Ink (Premiering Tuesday @10)

Being a lover of Tattoo's and addicted to reality TV
(seriously I can't get enough)
This show caught my eye
Premiering on Tuesday at 10

Honestly I was a bit disappointed
with the artist on Ink Masters
They were suppose to be the best in the world
and the mistakes made were just horrendous.
Best Ink has recruited 10 respected tattoo artist
from across the country.
Broken down into 8 episodes.
Art is going to be created for and
and on real people
in challenges designed to show of
the artist skills
Flash challenge and Ink challenge
The host is Kimberly Caldwell
Head Judge Joe Capobianco
(world-renowned tattoo artist )
Judge Sabina Kelley
(international pinup model and tattoo shop owner)
Rotating Guest Judge

The Prize:
$100,000
Cover and Feature spread in Tattoo Magazine
The ultimate bragging rights of having
The Best Ink

I'm not familiar with any of these artist so
I don't know who I am routing for yet.
But from the preview the art work looks amazing.
Shows on Oxygen are usually drama filled.
Which for some strange reason
makes it even better I think.
