Miss Blue's PlayMG surprise!

It is no secret that we are complete

tech brats in The Dollhouse.

Daddy has his PS4, Mighty M

has his Innotab, I have my tablet,

and Miss Blue is constantly
playing on my phone.

Her Innotab was becoming
to kiddie for her.

Well Miss Blue has been doing 

amazing in school.

Straight A's, re-selected for book

club and moving up in her reading group.

We are so proud of her and I wanted

to get her something super special.

Over the holiday I had stumbled 

upon a giveaway for a 

PlayMG on Well Connected Mom.com.

I showed Miss Blue and her eyes lit up!

This was the perfect thing for my ghoul.

Since she had asked for a phone

for Christmas , but seriously she wont 

be getting a phone till she is in her teens.

Not only was this device everything

her little heart desired.

The spokesgirl is Olivia Holt

(you might know her from

Girl VS Monster).

Olivia is one of her favorite actress

at the moment, so that made her

love it even more.

The more I thought about it

the more I knew we had to get this

for Miss Blue.

After new years I received 

the most exciting email.

I was selected as the winner.

Out of 500 entries I was the one.

Honestly I was jumping up and down.

It shortly arrived, but we decided we 

were going to wait to give it to Miss Blue.

As a reward for doing so good in school.

So it sat on the pool table for weeks.

Which was so hard cause I had

to keep it a secret and I was beyond

excited to give it to her.

Last night was the night.

Daddy handed her the box.

She slowly opened it, with

a huge grin on her face.

First thing in the box was 

this sweet little note from Lori

aka Wellconnectedmom.

I don't think Miss Blue expected 

what was in the box.

Her face lit up even more 

when she realized what it was.

have and use for a very long time.

It is just a tad bit bigger then 

my My Touch as you can see.

It gives her the feel of a phone.
 She is loving the touch screen.
I woke up this morning and she was already playing on it.
 And I have a feeling she wont be putting it down much today.

 

Miss Blue has been working hard 

this year in school.

We are all very proud of her!

Not to mention she is an amazing kid.

We love her so very much!

She has earned this, and totally deserves it!

Hector Baby Vampyre Bat- Vamplets

Vamplets are so deadly cute.

They started out with some adorable baby vampyres.

But it has turned into a nursery full of 

horrifically cute and dangerously adorable pets.

Just waiting to be adopted by you!

I remember the first time I saw Vamplets

it was on Cultured Moms Facebook page.

She was talking about how she saw
 them at the toy fair that year.

I instantly fell in love and wanted to know

more about these little dark darlings.

It is a few years later and I have

been a loyal fan ever since.

Not only does this company make

great little creatures.

They support save the bats!
Which  is A++ in my book.

Nightcare Nanny (being  so amazingly sweet)

sent me a package, it arrived yesterday.

The most adorable little bat was in the box.

His name is Hector and oh my he is lovely.

I am very impressed with the quality and 

all the detail put into him.

The material he is made of is really nice too.

His fur is so soft.

Perfect he is!

Included was condolence of adoption paper.

Attached was a baby werewolf pin.

Instead of me telling you how about we show you.

Hector has a spot on my dinning room buffet

where him and Count Vlad  Von Gloom hang out.

Miss Blue was very excited when bed time came.

She ran and got Hector and brought 

him to bed with her.

We thought about it though she is a toss and turn sleeper.

Didn't want him to get wrecked so we made him 

a bed next to her bed. 

He was very happy about this.

Miss Blue gave him good night kisses too.

Fashion Union gave me a Christmas surprise!

I have been a huge fan of Fashion Union for awhile now.

They have super cute clothing for reasonable prices.

Right before Christmas I received a direct message

from Fashion Union on Twitter.

It was to let me know I was chosen as one

of the winner for the FU Xmas Win

Pinterest boards contest.

Here was my board.

I had a lot of fun making it.

And it only made me love Fashion Union more!

I was beyond thrilled to be picked as a winner.

 5 winners were picked randomly.

My prize was a gift certificate for 50 pounds.

I sat going through their site for three days.

They just have so much to choose from.

The excitement kept rising too 

while picking everything out.

One word of advice though when 

ordering from Fashion Union have

a size converter opened in another window.

The sizes on the site are European 

so it can get a bit confusing.

I just went with small on everything

and crossed my fingers it all would fit.

BYOU Magazine

I was really excited when contacted about BYOU Magazine.

Being that I have a seven year old  darling daughter,

I knew this was a magazine that
 we would be very interested in.

Its main focus is to help young girls develop 

a healthy self-esteem.
Encouraging to embrace their own and unique self.

Miss Blue was very excited when it arrived.
It was in a shiny pink package,
her eyes lit up when she saw it.

She got a very pleasant surprise when she opened it.

Olivia Holt was on the cover.

She had just watched Girl Vs Monster last week.

Also she had received some Disney Signed clothing

for Christmas this year.

Right away she went "Mommy that's my girl!"

We decided that we would leave the 

Olivia Holt story for bedtime story.

I told her to look through it.

She was smiling the whole time.

This magazine is full of great stuff.

Be Fearless in 2013 is right on the first 

page when you open it.

What is really great about this magazine

is that is is real girls telling their stories, giving their advice.

Then as a extra bonus it has interviews and questions

answered by young actresses and singers.

Girls young girls would be familiar with from TV shows and movies.

They also are running two contest in this issue.

Where Do You B-You?

Enter by submitting a photo of your

daughter with her magazine in a interesting place.

Miss Blue is already trying to think of a great 

place to bring it to get a good shot.

There is a lot of smiling faces through

out the pages of girls from 8-14.

My favorite part was reading about 

the young girls with their own businesses.

It was great for Miss Blue to read showing her

if she put her mind to it she could  become

successful at a young age.

It is all about determination and great ideas.

That night at bed time Miss Blue 

had her BYOU magazine in hand.

We cuddled reading the Olivia Holt interview.

We learned she is a very sweet girl.

And that her whole family moved to LA 

so she could pursue her dreams.

It was a very sweet interview.

Added bonus it has two mini posters of her.

Miss Blue was beyond excited.

I feel this magazine has a lot of 

great articles and advice for young girls.

I felt though the quizzes were a little

to old for Miss Blue.

But it was still fun taking them.

I remember that was always my favorite part 

of girly magazines.

It was the first time Blue took one

or that she got her Horoscope read to her.

Over all it was a great experience.

I would defiantly recommend the BYOU Magazine

if you have a daughter in the 8-14 range.

My daughter is at that age where she is 

developing her self confidence and honestly

I want it to be through the roof.

Anything that can make her smile more 

and feel better about herself.

I am 100% behind and this magazine did just that.

Spells and Potions Boogie Board

Last month I participated in
 Boogie Boards  Halloween contest.
To create a Halloween costume made of candy.

 The catch to the contest was you couldn't use paper.

I love contest where you have to be creative.

Thought about it and then I came up with the sweetest idea.

The Cupcake Witch

Caution: This costume is EXTREMELY SWEET!!

I used a big black dinner plate, icing and cupcake toppings.

I entered it right away, I was excited.

Really glad I did because they loved it too.

Awarded  me with a

Also a entry into the Facebook vote contest.

Which I didn't win but was really close.

I am really excited and happy to have

I do wish though it would have come with 

a sleeve and a stylus holder.

I got a Honeycat surprise in the mail yesterday.

My ups man handed me a small box.

I wasn't sure what it was at first.

Then I saw the Honeycat logo,

and smelt something sweet.

Then it hit me I must have been picked as

one of the 5 winners for the Frisky Friday giveaway.

YAY!!!

I was excited!
I have been a fan of them for a long time.

I just love the style.

In my box was a

The smell of this candle was amazing.

I mean I smelt it through the box.
