American Horror Story- Asylum

Having premiered October 17th.
This is the second of the anthology series.
But before I start to talk about Asylum.
Let recap the first season.
Season Ones theme was INFIDELITY.
Ben cheated on Vivian with one of his students.
They move in hopes to fix their marriage.
Unfortunately they move into
a haunted Victorian home.
Sex, depression, revenge, lies, the unknown,
and sinister next door neighbor.
This season hooked me in.
I will admit though I was confused a lot.
The characters were well written.
My favorite was Tate.
Even if he ended up being the man
in the black rubber suit.
(Have no clue what I am talking about go watch the first season.)

This show was spooky and interesting.
Not knowing who was alive and who was dead.
The ending though I felt lacked something.
I was expecting more I guess.
The explanation was just short and then it was over.

Now the second season has started.

I finally got a chance to watch it last night.
And I must say OH MY!
First off I am very excited that not only
is Jessica Lang playing Sister Jude.
But a few other actors are back from season one.
Evan Peters is playing Kit - The famous Bloody Face.
Zachary Quinton will be playing Dr Oliver Threadson.
(you would know him from Heros as Sylar.)
Taking place in 1964 .
Giving us a look into  Briarcliff Mental Institution.
Just from watching the first episode.
I can tell this season is going to be more
bloody, gruesome, and demented.
It starts off with a honeymoon couple going
to explore the abandoned institution.
Then it flashes to 1964.
We meet Sister Jude and get introduces to all the madness.
Kit aka Bloody Face has been emitted.
We get a peek at the torcher Dr Arthur Arden
puts the patients through in the name of science.
But we also know something far more sinister is
to blame for the death of Kit's wife.
The nosiey report has been caught and
will be getting more then she bargained for.
We also get flashes of modern time.
Which shows us a bloody Adam Levine,
and a horrified wife running for her life.
(I have to be honest I don't really like the sex scene stuff
or the hack em slash them, so I fast forward through that part, not really sure
what happened)
The asylum is dark and eerie.
They did a great job setting the mood.
There is a lot going on this season
so I am defiantly interested to see what happens!
And once again I am HOOKED!

American Horror Story Asylum is on FX  Wendsday at 10.
Also go and check out the FX AHS site.
All sorts of goodies to explore.

Monster High Scavenger Hunt- Turned out to be not that fabulous!

It is no secret that we love Monster High
in The Dollhouse.
I was super excited when I heard
that Monster High was going to be
having a scavenger hunt at Walmart.

I check to see if the one by us was participating
and it was!
Me and Blue have been excited about this
all week.

Miss blue got all decked out in her Monster High
stuff , and looked awesome..
We left the boys at home cause this was girl time.
Not sure about anything other then it started at 1:00.
Luckily we went in the right entrance.
In the Halloween section by the candy
was a booth with Monster High stuff on it.
I said to Blue "this must be it".
So we waited for a few seconds.
Then two Walmart workers came over.
One complimented Blue on her outfit
then goes "here you want one of these?"
Miss Blue got excited.
She handed her this clear goodie
bag with some stuff in it.
I asked the lady about the scavenger hunt and
what all was going to go on.
She said it just to show you were the movie
and dolls are.
She tried to hand me the movie.
Then kinda sent Blue on her way.
I was bummed and I know Blue was even more bummed.
We had been excited all week for this.
And it was a BIG disappointment!
 I know you are wondering
what was in the goodie bag.
- a business card  with a code on it

Which unlocked this page.

- a paper with the Scavenger hunt on it

- a small Monster High temp tattoo

and a red crayon.

Non the less it was still Monster High stuff
so Blue was still excited.
I told her to just cut off the Walmart part
of the paper and frame it.
That would look awesome next to her
 Monster High shelf.

But shame on you Walmart and Monster High
for putting out all this hype
for something awesome and
not delivering.
There was so much talk all over the forums
of the different things it could have been.
We are your fans you want to keep us happy.

I would have been beyond thrilled if
you gave out Halloween candy bags.
Instead it was a clear small bag.

For those of you that weren't able to make
it you didn't miss much.
And those of you that did go, were
you as disappointed as us?

Here is the new Monster High
Ghouls Rule!
Grab your little girl and watch it..
Hopeful this makes her smile!

I more then ever want to win the Monster High
prize pack now.
To make up for today!

There is an emphasis on the cat as a symbol of female sexuality,
 and sensuality.
All of the products relate figuratively,

they would make for the Purrrrrrfect present !

I got a Honeycat surprise in the mail yesterday.
My ups man handed me a small box.

Oh I adore the box, it had
the sexy Honeycat logo.

It is a coconut milk / mango pure soy candle.
And it smells amazingly good!!!
I have not even lit it yet, I have it just sitting by my bed.

Pink Butterfly Aprons

I love to bake!
Every Saturday me and kiddies bake something.
Cookies, muffins, cake, cupcakes, and brownies.
We love our sweets!

It was really exciting when I received a email from
Heather  from Girl Gone Mom
letting me know I was the winner of her
Pink Butterfly Apron giveaway.
I rushed right over to the site.
My prize was apron of choice!
YAY!
I just loved the style of the aprons.
So adorable.
Since my kitchen is Halloweened themed
I was hoping to find a Halloween one.
Didn't see one, but there were other really cute ones.
The colors in my kitchen are  bit odd.
Lime greens, purple, orange, black.
I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if
 they had any Halloween ones.
Well not only did they have one but
they had four to choose from!

I was so excited when I saw the last one.
Not only were the colors perfect for my kitchen.
But it has spooky cupcakes on it!
We have a WINNER!
Those of you that know me...
Know I am all about the spooky cupcakes!

My apron arrived  a few days later.
Talk about fast!
And well I LOVE IT!

It is the perfect apron for me!
Cute and spooky!

It has a candy cane ruffle all around the bottom up
to the tie in the back.

The front has a pocket on each side,
with a bow on top.

The neck part is adjustable.
Personally  I like to wear my aprons a bit higher.
I really appreciate this.
It give the option to wear it higher
or lower depending on who is wearing it.

Has a Pink Butterfly label.

The quality of the apron is really impressing too.
It is lined so it has a thickness to it.
The fabric is nice not chinsy.
Really colorfully and bright!
The stitching is perfect.
This apron is going to last me a LONG time.

For my first time wearing my new apron I know
you think I made spooky cupcakes.
Not today I made  some good and healthy
breakfast muffins.
Took a box of lemon poppy muffin mix,
added apples, carrots, orange juice, cayenne pepper and turmeric.
It was so tasty!

Thank you so much Heather from Girl Gone Mom
and
Barbra from Pink Butterfly Aprons
I adore this apron so much.
It is SPOOKYTASTIC!

Make sure to go and check out Pink Butterfly Apron site,
they have such a great selection.

Neverland Nook's Bows

Miss Blue is very fashion forwards for being 7.
She loves to dress girly.
Tutu's and hair bows are her thing.
It was extremely exciting when
I was picked as the winner of the
 Neverland Nook's BOW-dacious giveaway.

My first thought was Blue is going to love these.
A small little package arrived FILLED with bows.
Today Miss Blue worn one!

She just looked adorable.
Her smile was huge when she put it in.
It was the perfect accessory for her outfit today.
She really hit the bow jackpot.
They are super cute and well made.

The most exciting part is they gave us 18 bows.
Her bow holder is now full.
She has a lot of cute options and colors to wear.

Thank you  ladies of  Neverland Nook's.
