My newest LDD Beelzebub

Every year for my birthday I like
to get a new doll for the collection.
This year there was so many good ones to choose from.
I had my eye on a few.
Quack from series 23

Rotten Sam and Sandy

Beelzebub

The four horsemen of the Apocalypse

I searched all over the internet for the best prices.
And to my surprise Amazon
was the winner.
I usually get my dolls from Ebay
or Sinister Collections.
In the past Amazon usually has the
dolls way over priced.
But I checked anyway and boy was I glad I did.

I could have gotten the Rotten Sam and Sandy set
for $44 including shipping.
That is a steal considering that at
Spencers and Hot Topic they now are sold for
$30 a piece.

Quack was $25.99
with free shipping.

The four horsemen was $97.99.
This is a super price for the set.
Making it about $24.49 a doll.

But I fell in love with Beelzebub.
Just the way he looked.
His face is so sick looking.
Oh and he was only $18.00
plus $4.99 shipping.

So after much thought.
I ordered Beelzebub.
Payed $23 and change for him.
Can you say SCORE!!!

Well he arrived yesterday.
And I must say I love him even
more now that I see him in the real.
He is so adorably spooky.

The first thing that caught my eye
was his big sparkly red eyes on his hood.
His face is perfect too.
I was so happy with how he looked.

He is in a furry black suit and
has black tights and no shoes.

He is the perfect new addition.
I am very happy with my selection.
He looks great on the shelf.

The coffin is just a plain black one.
His chipboard poem reads:
With insect wings and big red eyes.
He might like poop, some would summise.
High in rank, a bellion of pint size.
He is the one known as the lord of the flies.
You remember that we were given a
teaser for this series before it came out.

The rest of his series I wasn't to crazy about.
The way I collect dolls is I only get the ones I really like.
So I most likely wont be getting the rest of his series.
But that is ok cause as all of you doll collectors know.
Mezco/LDD comes out with so many living dead dolls a year.
I can pick and choose and still have a awesome collection.

Must have for the collections.
Quack (The whole Tea party really)
Rotten Sam and Sandy
Frankenstein and Bride
Hit Girl
and many more!!!

Have you gotten any new dolls lately?

Monster High Winner!

You remember last last month
when I told you all about the
Walmart Monster High scavenger hunt.
It was uber lame and I felt so bad for Miss Blue.
I was really hoping to make it up to her by winning
a Monster High Prize pack.
I put in a few extra tweets here and there.
I was super excited when I recieved a email
The headline was
You won the "Monster High" giveaway!

Eeeep I got a huge grin on my face.
There was three winners.
I didn't win the Monster High prize pack but I
won the next best thing.
A $25 Walmart card.
Which I think ended up being the better prize.
It arrived yesterday, I was so excited.
We had just enough time to
run to Walmart and pick some
Monster High goodies out.
Miss Blue has been doing really good
in school and helping out
a lot around the house so this was
going to be a special treat for her.
I told her she could pick out anything she
wanted as long as it was Monster High.
Her face lit up!
Our first stop was the Monster High section
in the toy department.
There selection of dolls
was dissapointing.
They had none of the Ghouls Rule dolls
or the Scary Tale ones.
Which were the ones she really wanted.
She did grab a  Monster High
Skultimate Roller Maze Frankie doll.
We then headed over to the girls clothing section.
They had two super cute Monster High outfits.
I told her she could get one outfit and the doll.
She tried them both on.
Then she decided she wanted both outfits
and would wait on the doll.
I was really proud of her,
thought she made a great choice.
They were $12.97 a piece she did
go over $25 by a few dollars but
I was glad to chip in.

I am a little bummed though the
one outfit just came with regular black pants.
Nothing Monster High on them.
I wish they would of had  a
Monster High logo on it or something.
But the other outfit is 100% Monster High!
Today she mixed matched the two outfits
and rocked it at school!

She said everyone at school
was crazy about her outfit.
I could feel the confidence shining off her today.
A BIG THANK YOU to Brett from Mama Loves Her Bargains.
You have made my little monster extremely happy!

Target 90% off Halloween goodies...

I love Halloween!
I get so excited when I see all the spooky
stuff in the stores.
But I usually hold out till it starts to get discounted
before I buy any of it.
There are always a few things I grab
when it goes down 30% then 50%.
Somethings don't make it to 90% off.
But despite that I always get tons
of awesome goodies for so cheap.
My total today was $14.79 for all this.
Just to show you how big I scored.
The Monster High wig before discount was $15.00
as was the Glow in the Dark decals
was $14.99 before discount.
I got all of this for the price of just one of those items.

22 items for $14.79.
Savings $117.90, this makes me smile.
I got a few pairs of socks and tights for me and Blue
all for .50 and under..
Monster High wig sealed in package. - $1.50
Wensday wig sealed in package.- $1.00
Daphney Scooby Doo wig-.80 cents
 not sealed but
had to get it Miss Blue LOVES her.
The two packages of glow in the dark decals. $1.49 each
4 spooky kiddie section plates. .29 cents each
A bat sippy cup for .29 cents.
2 Zombie blood set and  1 staples necklace bracelet set. .50 a package
Halloween Twister game- .80
Cupcake liners - .19 cents

Now the secret of Target clearance
 shopping is looking for those
carts with a bunch of random items.
If it weren't for those I would
have just came home today with the 4 kiddie plates.
The shelves were pretty empty.
There was 5 carts of random stuff at my Target.
I was so excited.
I dug thru them all.
And as you see scored some goodies.
I had my eye on a few of these things so to get them for
so cheap is awesome!
Not matter how picked through the Halloween stuff is,
it seems I always score big when it hits 90%.
Usually I am there at opening but today I went at noon-ish.
And still came home with two full bags
of Halloween goodies and saved over $100.

We got our vote in!

We got our vote in..
And it was easier then we expected..
Let me first start off with I am
very antisocial.
I get panic attacks when put
in situations where I am surrounded
by people I don't know.
I was not looking forward to standing on the voting line.
But lets back track a bit.
This was the first time I have ever voted.
I registered years ago but didn't end up voting.
The fear of standing in line with all those people
got the best of me.
This election though I felt really
strongly about who I wanted to win and
who I opposed.
I was at story time with my son and
the voter registration lady was there.
I filled out my form and left with a smile.
Now my husband on the other hand
procrastinated and waited till the last minute to register.
And if it wasn't for my putting a little
bit of fire under his butt I doubt he would have
made the dead line.
But the good news is he did.
I made sure of that.
We both received our cards
in the mail shortly.
But I was starting to get nervous
voting day was getting close.
I was not looking forward to the line
or trying to keep a 3 year old occupied
while we were waiting.
Luckily we were at the library for another story time.
I saw a poster on the wall ballot by mail.
I quick ran over and got the pamphlet.
Took it home and read it over.
There was a web site on it.
Went filled out a form.
Then had my husband do the same.
Our absentee ballots  arrived in a few days.
On Friday night after we put the kids to bed.
We got out ballots and filled them out.
In the comfort of our own home.
Without being rushed, intimidated, or having to wait.
And from this point on we will receive our ballots in the mail.
And I am so glad!
I no longer have to fear being around all those
people and standing in line.
I filled out my ballot, sealed and signed.

That being said, there is no reason not to vote.
I mean the ballot comes to your house,
NO LINE!
Then we dropped it off at the library ballot box.
It was as easy as mailing a letter.

We got our vote in!
Did you?
Today is the day.
Be apart of the % that
is exercising their freedom to vote!
